Speak Circle is a mobile application designed to help adults find language practice sessions, connect with other users, and communicate around scheduled sessions.

Users may choose to enable location access on their mobile device to find nearby language sessions. Location access is optional.
Speak Circle does not collect location data unless the user grants permission through the mobile operating system. If the user does not allow location access, nearby-session features may be limited.
Users may exchange messages in the app from the day of a session in order to finalize practical details, such as the meeting location.
Messages may be stored to allow users to access the conversation related to a session.
We may collect information related to user interactions with the app, such as session participation, profile setup status, and account activity, in order to operate and improve the app.

Some user information may be visible to other users inside the app when necessary for the service to work. For example, a username, profile photo, spoken languages, or session-related information may be displayed to other users participating in or viewing a session.
Speak Circle may use technical service providers to host, store, or process data required for the app to function. These providers are used only to operate the service.
Payments for downloading the app are handled by Google Play. Speak Circle does not collect or store users’ payment card details.
We use HTTPS/TLS to protect data transmitted between the mobile app and our servers.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Speak Circle is intended for users aged 18 and over. The app is not intended for children or minors.
